When students with a Mac computer connect to an exam with Excel, a check named "System events approval" will be added at this stage. If the check fails, perform the following actions (configured in two different paths):

- Go to "System Settings"

- Go to "Privacy & Security"

- Go to "Accessibility"

- Add VIX to the allowed applications (this action requires a password)


- Go to "System Settings"

- Go to "Privacy & Security"

- Go to "Automation"

- Go to VIX

- Check "Enable System Events"


If the above did not help, granting "Full Disk Access" should solve the problem.
